2 Chronicles. Temple, Kings, Reform and Exile

2 Chronicles begins with Solomon’s reign and the building and dedication of the temple in Jerusalem. It then follows the kings of Judah, highlighting being faithful, reform, prayer, worship and the consequences of turning away from God. The book ends with Jerusalem’s fall, exile, and Cyrus’s decree allowing a return and rebuilding.
